- W3 Schools - Here you will find all the web-building tutorials you need, from basic HTML and XHTML to advanced XML, SQL, Database, Multimedia and WAP. Great site for beginners.
- Web Developers Notes - Free web programming tutorials, web master resources, tips and tricks on HTML, JavaScript, web design, web promotion, the Internet and much more!

- Arturia - The finest analogue synth emulator plug-in instruments available, in my opinion.
- Big Blue Lounge.com - Discussion forums for music and audio production on Mac OS X.
- Logic Pro 7 - Apple discussions - Discussion forum for Logic Pro on the Apple support site
- Logic Pro Help - A professional discussion forum for Apple's Logic Pro digital audio workstation software.
- Sound On Sound - Music technology magazine. Great forums and articles, although some of their reviews and online content requires a subscription.
- Synth Museum - The largest online museum of vintage electronic musical instruments, including synthesisers and drum machines, both analogue and digital.
- Synth Zone - Comprehensive site for information about hardware synthesisers and music software. It covers a wide range of synthesisers & MIDI controllers, plus all relevant music software & support products.
- TweakHeadz Lab - On this site you will find everything you need to know about producing master quality music in your home studio.
- Vintage Synth Explorer - Provides a fast and easy way to learn about vintage analogue and digital synthesisers. The site has grown to include modern analogue emulators, software synths, plug-ins, and other new synthesisers and samplers.

- 7stanes - Specially designed mountain bike trails located in the south of Scotland.
- Bikemagic - Comprehensive mountain bike site. Plenty of reviews, know-how sections, forums and galleries.
- Mountain Bike Cumbria - Excellent site dedicated to riding your mountain bike in and around Cumbria. Loads of photos and information about local trails.
- Mountain Bike UK - Popular UK mountain biking magazine.
- MTB Britain - Large resource of mountain bike trails in Britain. Plenty of detail including photos and videos on the trails. I've ridden a couple of these myself.
- MTB Review - Mountain bike product reviews plus forums, classifieds and trails. USA based.
- MTB Routes - Many links to a wide selection of UK mountain bike routes, classified by region.
- Singletrack - Mountain bike magazine. Great site with loads of info and features.
- Sustrans - Sustrans is the co-ordinator of the popular National Cycle Network. Offering over 10,000 miles of walking and cycle routes on traffic-free paths, quiet lanes and traffic-calmed roads throughout the UK.
- Weight Weenies – Is your bike the weight of a tank? Find out how much each component weighs and how you could make your bike lighter.

- AddNote! - A very simple little widget that launches a new sticky note when you click it. It only uses a small amount of screen space.
- Answers - This widget gives you quick access to the content of Answers.com, the online dictionary and encyclopaedia.

- BBC Weather - Gets the latest five-day weather forecast from the BBC Weather Centre.
